WEEK 1

Theme: “Your First Love”

DAY 1 - JAN 1ST

Devotional:

The theme for this week is “Your First Love.” Take some time and reflect on what the theme means to you. One central issue as it relates to those who have lost their first love is a shift in focus, attention, and intense love for Jesus. Take a moment and think about what the word consecration means to you. Define it. How does it relate to this 21-day committment?

Read:

Morning: Psalm 42:1-3 Noon: Ecclesiastes 4:12 Evening: Luke 5:34

Study:

Matthew 22:37

DAY 2 - JAN 2ND

Devotional:

As we return to the theme of focus today, I’m certain you are beginning to experience some challenges. For an example, your hunger for food will start to take center stage as your physical flesh begins to send all those reminders to your brain telling you to eat and eat NOW! This is the moment where we must remember what the scriptures inform us. Remember this: “your thoughts and your focus as a choice, not a foregone conclusion.”

Read:

Morning: Psalm 71 Noon: Ecclesiastes 4:12 Evening: Luke 5:34

Study:

Matthew 6:1-24

DAY 3 - JAN 3RD

Devotional:

“Return to me” Many times in life, there are hard days, even hard seasons. We’ve all been there. It appears one bad day, one harsh criticism, or one failure can be all-consuming and cause us to look right past the many good things.

Study:

Psalm 139:7-8

DAY 7 - JAN 7TH

Did you know joy is your right as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ? The enemy wants you to feel beat-up and condemned for things you have done in the past. He wants to rob you of your God-given right to joy. Joy is right!

Read:

Morning: Romans 3:23 Noon: Luke 15:20-24 Evening: Hebrews 13:5-6

Psalm 32 & Psalm 51

For  week 2, January 8th-14th, we will be fasting 6 hours daily.

Once again we would like to reiterate, if you are taking any medications prescribed by your physician or are on restrictions due to health challenges, we are asking you to obey your physicians. Consult them and find out what you can do and do what you can during this consecration.

WEEK 2

Theme: “Returning to Jesus”

DAY 8 - JAN 8TH

Devotional:

The enemy’s job is to pull us away from God’s house and God’s purposes. The enemy knows he can take everything away from us, if we come out from under the covering of the Father. He wants to take our finances, reputation, our good name, and ultimately our witness for Jesus.

Read:

Morning: Luke 15:1-10

Noon: Luke 15:11-20

Evening: Luke 15:21-32

Study:

Jeremiah 29:12-14

DAY 9 - JAN 9TH

Devotional:

We must realize God’s people are protected. We are blessed! Satan will try to sneak in with a subtle approach, undetected, and pull you out from under the covering of the blessing of the Lord. This is why it is so important to not only walk in God’s ways, but to walk in community with his people.

Noon: Ephesians 6

Evening: Hebrews 10

Read:

Morning: Acts 3:1-8 Noon: Romans 13:1-2

Evening: Ephesians 4:11-12

Study:

Luke 7

DAY 11 - JAN 11TH

Devotional:

Welcome to Day 11, the official halfway point of this 21-day prayer and consecration. Over the last few days, we have taken long hard looks at the parts of us that keep us from returning fully to Jesus. We can declare our desire to yield fully to God, but we must remove barriers. These walls of pride and independence must be replaced with the only thing that can make these walls fall—surrender.

Reflect on the words written in Joel 2:13 a clause, which states “rend your heart and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God:”

Read:

Morning: Matthew 23

Noon: 1 Timothy 6

Evening: 1 John 4:4

Study:

Colossians 3

DAY 12 - JAN 12TH

Devotional:

Today we look at another step in the process of returning to Jesus, recommitting to daily time in God’s Word. Do you spend time reading God’s Word each day? Each week? Once a month? Ever? If you read the Word of God far less than you would like, there are two things that I know are true: you are not alone and you are not receiving all the Lord has for you. To know the mind of God, you must look into his word. Joshua 1:8 states, “keep this book of law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.”

Read:

Morning: Hebrews 4:12 Noon: 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Evening: Psalm 119:11

Study:

Joshua 1:8

DAY 13 - JAN 13TH

Devotional:

Prayer, spending time in God’s Word, and participating in church are three major steps in your return to Jesus. The next major step is daily times of personal worship. (The worship of God)

Worship defined: reverence, veneration, adoration, glorification, exaltation; show reverence and adoration for a deity; honor with religious rites.

Read:

Morning: Matthew 5:7 Noon: 2 Chronicles 20:21

Evening: Exodus 25:10

Study:

1 Peter 2

DAY 14 - JAN 14TH

Devotional:

The last issue we will deal with is the issue of sin in our lives. Romans 3:23 states: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” We all miss the mark. The technical definition of the word “sin” is missing the mark. There are many barriers’ believers face when trying to draw nearer to God. One of the greatest barriers is unconfessed sin.

Read:

Morning: 1 John 1 Noon: Romans 7

Evening: Romans 8

Study:

Romans 3:23

For  week 3, January 15th-21st, we will be fasting 9 hours daily.

Once again we would like to reiterate, if you are taking any medications prescribed by your physician or are on restrictions due to health challenges, we are asking you to obey your physicians. Consult them and find out what you can do and do what you can during this consecration.

WEEK 3

Theme: “Returning to Your Purpose”

DAY 15 - JAN 15TH

Devotional:

Welcome to week three! This is when you will start to sense that the end is closer than ever. By now, if you have faithfully committed to each day of this study, you have dealt with so many powerful principles and have spent time with the Lord eliminating many of the roadblocks the enemy utilizes to keep you from returning to God in meaningful ways.

Read:

Morning: Jeremiah 1 Noon: Exodus 19:2-5 Evening: Hebrews 4

Study:

Joshua 5

DAY 16 - JAN 16TH

Devotional:

A God-given vision is a powerful thing. A lot of people mistake goal setting for vision. There’s nothing wrong with having goals, but a vision is not a goal that you set in your carnal mind. A true vision originates from God. It’s something that God puts in your spirit it. A God given vision comes through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Read:

Morning: John 10:27 Noon: Mark 2:1-4

Evening: Ephesians 4:11

Study:

2 Corinthians 12

DAY 17 - JAN 17TH

Devotional:

Proper placement in life is critically important to our effectiveness and success. God is trying to emphasize a point to us. You don’t just go out in life anywhere or anyway you feel. A Christians life is not based upon feelings. If you are a child of God, he has a plan for your life. God also has a place where that plan will unfold. Often people miss God’s plan for their lives because of resistance to move to the next thing, or even the next place God has for them. When it comes to our own will, we decided where we will live and what will do to our own folly. There are those who are quick to purchase the new thing, take a job offer or accept financial gain. I’ve seen people who are really involved and connected in their church leave because they were offered more money if they relocated. We must cultivate sensitivity to the voice of God in these matters.

Read:

Morning: 1 Kings 17:3-4 Noon: Psalm 91 Evening: Psalm 92

Study:

Deuteronomy 12

DAY 18 - JAN 18TH

Devotional:

If you look hard enough, you will find that there are clues to your assignment everywhere. Finding your assignment in the kingdom is critical. You are treasured and valued in God’s eyes. He knew you before you were in your mother’s womb, and God has a purpose for your life. Everything God sets into motion has purpose. Remember you wouldn’t be here if God did not have a purpose for you.

Read:

Morning: 2 Timothy 2:15 Noon: Psalm 70

Evening: Psalm 1

Study:

Jeremiah 1

DAY 19 - JAN 19TH

Devotional:

The last three days of the fast are upon us. I pray that this journey has held great meaning for you. Your life matters to God. You were His idea, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Remember your enemy, Satan, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). His primary mode of operation is deception and distraction. Just like Peter walking on the water, the enemies’ attacks can come at the times of your greatest success.

Read:

Morning: Philippians 1:27

Noon: Hebrews 9:27 Evening: 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Study:

Luke 14

DAY 20 - JAN 20TH

Devotional:

I believe with all my heart that the Holy Spirit is looking for people in whom he can deposit important revelation concerning the future. Before this can happen, we must understand revelation comes from God and is revealed through the Holy Spirit.

If you climb up high enough in the realm of God, he will open your eyes and show you things not visible from where you are now. The Bible describes Noah’s ark as having three levels (Genesis 6:16). I believe this is symbolic and can be compared to this consecration. When you consecrate and add fasting, you are taking your relationship with God to another level. He will begin to reveal to you information he would not reveal in a causal relationship.

Read:

Morning: Deuteronomy 11:21 Noon: Psalm 139 Evening: Psalm 75

Study:

Revelation 3

DAY 21 - JAN 21ST

Devotional:

Twenty-one days ago, we embarked on a journey together with one goal in mind: “Return to Me.”

In week one, we talked about the concept of returning to God, while rending our heart and soul, bearing it all and laying it at the foot of the cross.

In week two, we talked about the many obstacles and roadblocks the enemy will use to try to keep you from Jesus through distraction and deception.

And in week three, we talked about returning to your purpose and finding your identity in Jesus—another kind of returning to Him.

Today, reflect on what you have learned over the course of this consecration.

Read:

Morning: Matthew 6 Noon: Jeremiah 29

Evening: James 1:3

Study:
